Cheap used bikes
Follow the production! When the bike is ready, a picture is taken, the newest is at the top and they are not removed after sale.
Our used bikes (2-10 new every day, 50-100 are always ready)
We make an effort to make decent bikes, but we can't make the accessories ourselves. Here we select brands and products that we believe in. Things that last. We have, for example, a large assortment of locks, lights and bicycle helmets from Abus. We have everything you need for your used Buddha Bikes bicycle.
Accessories
It is not as easy to obtain bicycle scrap as you might think. We have to be absolutely sure that our scrap bikes are not stolen bikes. We have to be sure that the bike would otherwise have been thrown away. So we don't buy bikes at auctions or anything else, but we would rather have what would otherwise be thrown away. It is this material that is in danger of being wasted and thus our work has the greatest environmental benefit.
Where do we get used bikes from?
Warranty and service are essential when buying bikes, and especially when buying a used bike. Few people can wait long to be able to ride again when the bike fails. And a large part of the price of a given product is about the treatment and guarantee you get. We also believe that it is crucial for our reputation that we maintain a high standard and vouch for the errors that will rarely but inevitably occur. Therefore, we have formulated a number of service initiatives and guarantees that we at least guarantee to live up to.
Warranty & Service
We humans are built quite differently, and the size and geometry of the individual bicycle must suit the cyclist. A bicycle is a machine with which your body interacts in many ways - most people have tried bicycles that feel absolutely terrible to sit on. We want to avoid that!
Body height and stride length are the usual indicators to measure by, but there is much else to take into account. We have made a guide that is as extensive as possible, but remember that nothing beats a test ride on a given bike.

For students with a valid study certificate, we would like to do something extra. If a student buys a used bike from Buddha Bikes, he can sell the bike back to us within 7 months. This is particularly relevant for exchange students who are only in Copenhagen for a shorter time, but also for students who are in doubt about the length of their needs and would like to have this option.
Buyback option
One great thing about working with used bikes is that they are all different. A used bicycle is thus more or less unique. However, it presents a challenge when we want to tell the world what we have for sale and at what prices. There are very large fluctuations, as we make new used bikes for sale every day and sell someone every day. And each bike is of course priced according to what the individual bike is worth. Committee
Most people have only tried to buy a handful of bikes in their lives, and even fewer used bikes. And so there are a number of considerations that can be usefully made. A used bicycle must, like new bicycles, be fit for purpose and for the cyclist. And as with new bikes, it is worth having some insight into the various options, and not least the pitfalls that are specific to buying a used bike.
