Short John with Di2

Rarely have we had such a large meeting between the new and the old. And it can do something.

In any case, the frame had to be repainted. Preferably really impact resistant and really nice. It was powder coated with an extra layer of clear coat for depth and plenty of shine. In a very specific color chosen by the customer.

Naturally, it should have integrated dynamo lighting. No discussion there.

The gentleman wanted internal gears, but not the regular ones. So we HAD to equip this old fully restored case with a very modern electronic gear change, Shimano Alfine Di2. Nothing less could do it.

And then of course hydraulic disc brakes when we got going.
